1. Start by planning your drip line irrigation system, taking into account both the area you are irrigating and the type of plants you’re trying to grow.
2. Lay out your drip line in the shape of a loop or a straight line, depending on the shape of your garden.
3. Attach the end of the drip line to a faucet spigot or hose bib.
4. Dig a shallow trench along the pathway of the drip line and connect it to the fitting on the spigot or hose bib.
5. Place the drip line in the shallow trench, making sure the emitters are facing upwards so water can flow freely out of them.
6. Secure the drip line in place with pegs or stakes.
7. Connect the other end of the drip line to a point of circuity so that the water can flow back to the outlet.
8. Connect all the emitters along the drip line to the main circuity.
9. Connect a timer to the spigot or hose bib and set it to the desired watering schedule.
10. Turn on the water supply and test the system.
