Replacing an irrigation head is a relatively simple process. You will need to locate the existing head, shut off the water supply to the area, and then dig up the ground around the head to expose it.
Once exposed, disconnect any fittings or wires connected to the head, and remove the head from its base. Secure the new head in the same position as the old one, connect any fittings or wires, and finally cover the head with soil. Finally, turn the water back on to the area and test the head to make sure it’s working correctly.
