Adding text in AutoCAD is a simple process. First, select the “Text” command from the Draw panel on the ribbon. Then, click in the drawing area to specify a starting point for the text.
Specify the height and angle of the text as desired. Once these settings are chosen, you can begin typing the desired text into the command window, and press Enter when done. The text will be added to the drawing. To modify the text, use the modify commands such as Move, Rotate, Scale, and Stretch.
