How cement is manufactured in industries?

Cement is manufactured in industries through a 8-step process.
Step 1: Mining: limestone and other raw materials used for cement production are extracted from the quarry.
Step 2: Crushing and Pre-homogenization: The raw materials are crushed and pre-homogenized by the crusher and then stored in a homogenizing silo.
Step 3: Raw Material Proportioning: The raw materials in the homogenizing silo are proportioned according to the particular type of cement being produced.
Step 4: Raw Milling and Blending: The materials are sent to a raw mill for grinding into a very fine powder and blended to the desired composition.
Step 5: Burning: The finely ground materials are heated in a rotary kiln at high temperatures of up to 1450℃.
Step 6: Finish Grinding: Clinker, gypsum, and other additives are added to the finished product and they are ground up into a fine powder.
Step 7: Packaging: The finely ground powder is packed in bags or can be loaded in bulk onto trucks or trains for transportation.
Step 8: Quality Control: The quality of the cement is tested throughout the process to ensure it meets the required standards for use in construction.
