Shotcrete is made by mixing dry cement and sand with water to form a wet concrete mixture. This mixture is pumped at high pressure through a gun-like nozzle, which directs the mix onto a target surface.
Aggregates such as small stones may also be added to the mix, in order to assist in the bonding process. The shotcrete is then left to harden and cure, becoming strong and durable.
