2. Place rebar in the holes and fill them with concrete, leaving a couple of inches from the top of each hole.
3. Allow the concrete to set before placing your post on top of each pier. Secure the post with concrete anchors.
4. Install cross bracing between the posts using metal braces and lag screws.
5. Measure the length of your beam and cut pressure treated wood accordingly. Place the beam between the posts and secure it with lag screws or anchors.
6. Level the beam and check for plumbness before securing it in place.
7. Fill the area around the foundation with gravel to help facilitate drainage.
