Density of concrete depends on composition, water, cement, stone size, aggregate density, amount of air, and steel reinforcement.
To calculate the density of concrete:
- Collect sample from the concrete structure whose density has to be calculated.
- Then find out the weight of the sample in KG.
- Then calculate the volume of the sample collected in m3
- Now, we have the weight and volume of the sample insert them in the density formula i.e., d = W/V (where d represent density, W represent weight, and V represent volume).
