To clean grout on a tile floor, start by vacuuming up any debris. Then, create a cleaning solution of equal parts warm water and white distilled vinegar. Using a scrub brush or toothbrush, work the cleaning solution into the grout lines, paying special attention to areas with dirt or mildew buildup. Rinse with clean water once the grout has been scrubbed.
For tougher stains, use a baking soda paste mixed with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Allow this paste to sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing and rinsing.
