One of the best ways to control dust in a construction site is through wetting the soil and surfaces on a regular basis. This helps prevent dust from being kicked up by work activities such as digging, sweeping, and sawing. Additionally, wetting down construction materials such as asphalt and concrete before loading and moving them can also help reduce the amount of airborne dust.
Lastly, installing dust screens around the construction area and using high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) vacuums can help capture dust that does become airborne during construction.
