To cut a section in AutoCAD, use the “Section” command. This command will allow you to draw a cutting plane for your section by specifying two points or two lines. Once the cutting plane is established, you can use the “Section Object” command to generate a section object from the selected objects. The section object created can then be used to generate a 2D representation of the 3D model.
