3. Decide on a material for the staircase and purchase enough for the entire project. Common materials for curved staircases include wood, metal, concrete, and stone.
4. Install supports beneath the staircase, such as steel beams and posts, to ensure it is properly supported and can bear the weight of people walking on it.
