In Autocad 2D, you can draw a hexagonal nut by first drawing a regular hexagon shape and then adding the needed features such as the nut’s threads and its outer perimeter line.
First, make sure that the Shape Builder tool is enabled in the ribbon bar. Then, select the Polygon tool from the Home tab in the ribbon bar and click on the canvas to start drawing the hexagon shape. You can adjust the size of the hexagon using the Properties panel on the right hand side of the window. Finally, use the Spline and Line tools from the Draw panel to add the threads and perimeter lines to the hexagon.
