4. Place the new irrigation line in the trench and secure it with a connector.
5. Connect the new irrigation line to the existing irrigation line using fittings and clamps.
6. Use landscaping pins to secure the irrigation line in the trench.
7. Turn on the valve and test the new line for any leaks.
8. Fill the trench with soil and cover the new planting area.
