1. Start by planning the layout of your irrigation system. Determine where you want the water to go and how you want to cover the entire lawn area.
2. Choose the type of drip irrigation tubing you want to use for the system.
3. Lay out the tubing in the desired pattern in the lawn, using stakes or flags to mark its location.
4. Install a backflow preventer on the main water line to make sure the water doesn’t flow back into the main water supply.
5. Connect the drip irrigation tubing to the water lines with connectors.
6. Adjust the control box to regulate the water pressure and flow.
7. Connect the control box to the tubing with connectors.
8. Secure any loose pieces of tubing with garden staples.
9. Turn on the water and check for leaks and drips.
10. Adjust the flow rate and pressure of the system as needed.
