Making wood wool cement board involves a few steps including preparing the wood wool, mixing the cement and water, preparing the boards, and pressing the mixture into shape.
1. Prepare the wood wool by cutting or breaking it up into small pieces of consistent size.
2. Mix the cement and water together in a large container to form a paste.
3. Prepare the boards by cutting and nailing frames from 2″x4″ lumber.
4. Pour the paste into the frames and spread it out evenly.
5. Sprinkle the wood wool over the surface and press it down so it sticks to the paste.
6. Allow the boards to dry overnight.
7. Remove the frames and cut the boards to size.
8. Sand the surfaces to get a smooth finish.
9. Seal the boards with varnish or paint.
