To remove moss from roof tiles, you should first scrape off any loose moss with a plastic tool or soft-bristled brush. Then, dampen the area with a garden hose and then spray it liberally with a 50/50 solution of water and white distilled vinegar.
Allow the vinegar solution to sit for 30 minutes before rinsing with a garden hose. You may need to repeat this process a few times in order to completely remove the moss. Additionally, to prevent moss growth in the future, you should trim back trees and shrubs that are overhanging the roof and make sure the roof is receiving adequate amounts of sunlight.
