Staggering vinyl plank flooring is a relatively easy process. First, you will need to start by cutting your planks so that each plank is the same length. Once all the planks are cut to size, begin laying the planks from left to right across the room. Make sure to offset the end of each plank by at least 6 inches from the previous plank.
This will create a staggered pattern and help prevent the planks from buckling or shifting over time. You can use a measuring tape and chalk line to ensure that all planks remain at the same stagger. Once this step is complete, you can use a foam roller or a roller-led press to ensure that the planks are adhered properly to the subfloor.
