Trim command in AutoCAD is used to trim or extend the objects to meet the boundaries of other objects. To use this command, firstly select the object you want to trim and then select the cutting edge by clicking on the objects that are close to the cutting edge.
Then select the ‘Trim’ option from the Modify panel on the Home tab or alternatively type TR on the command line. Next, click on the objects you wish to trim. Finally, press Enter to complete the command.
