1. Make sure the construction site is properly fenced off with a high-security fence that is at least 6 feet tall and made of a sturdy material.
2. Install security cameras to monitor the area and deter any potential intruders.
3. Secure construction equipment and materials with locks, chains and padlocks.
4. Place large “No Trespassing” signs around the perimeter of the site.
5. Hire a professional security guard or team to patrol the area.
6. Install motion-activated lights and alarms to alert personnel and/or law enforcement if an intruder is detected.
7. Cover any exposed building materials with tarps to protect them from weather damage.
