1. Gather the necessary materials, such as block paving edging bricks, crushed stone, sand, and other building blocks and tools.
2. Clear any debris from the area and prepare the surface for laying.
3. Lay out the design of the edging bricks and mark the ground with a stick.
4. Dig out a trench around the marked area to a depth of around 5-10 cm.
5. Spread a layer of crushed stone in the bottom of the trench, leveled off and compacted.
6. Put a thin layer of sand over the crushed stone before laying the edging bricks.
7. Place the first row of edging bricks around the edge of the paved surface.
8. Lay the remaining edging bricks in courses, making sure they are even and level with each other.
9. Finish by filling the gaps between the edging bricks with sand, packing it tightly and thoroughly.
10. Add a layer of soil on top and use a plate compactor to level the area where the edging bricks were laid.
