3. Cut the planks to the length of each wall using a saw.
4. Start at one corner of the room and attach the first plank onto the ceiling with screws. Make sure it is level.
5. Continue attaching planks from that corner, overlapping each other and making sure they’re level.
6. Secure the planks with construction adhesive and nails or screws, depending on the type of wood being used.
7. When you have completed the installation of the wood planks, fill in any gaps between the planks with caulk.
8. Sand the surface down and apply a finish of your choice, such as paint or stain.
