Building a spiral staircase requires some planning and precision to ensure a safe and attractive finished product. First, you will need to determine the size of your staircase and select the materials you plan to use, such as wood or metal. Next, you will need to create a design that factors in the measurements of the height and width of your stairs, the number of steps and the angle of incline.
After drawing up the plans, you can begin construction. Starting from the bottom, use the material of your choice to create each step and thread them together using the staircase’s posts and stringers.
Finally, attach handrails to both sides of the staircase and make any necessary adjustments or additions before you’re finished.
