1. Measure the area where the embankment slide will be built. Make sure there is an adequate space for the slide to fit, and that the area is relatively level.
2. Clear the area of any debris or obstructions.
3. Lay out a sheet of plastic sheeting to serve as the base of the slide.
4. Secure the plastic sheeting with stakes to keep it in place.
5. Create a frame for the slide using 4×4 wooden posts and secure them into the ground with concrete.
6. Cover the frame with plywood sheets and layer them with plastic sheeting or tarpaulin.
7. Add a layer of sand on top of the plastic sheeting.
8. Add a layer of gravel to act as a drainage system and also to provide cushioning for the slide.
9. Attach a flexible tarpaulin on top of the frame and secure it with stakes.
10. To finish off the slide, use grass turf to cover up the slide and make it look more appealing.
