Once the footing has cured, apply a bonding agent on the surface. Then, mix the shotcrete and spread it over the surface in layers, using a trowel to shape it. As each layer dries, spray it with water to cure it. Finally, finish the wall with a thin layer of mortar, trowel to a smooth finish, and allow it to dry.
