      2. Compression test – This test is used to check the strength of bricks and is done by applying a load on the brick and measuring the amount of load it can withstand before breaking or crushing.

      3. Absorption test – This is a test to check the water-absorbing capacity of bricks and is done by measuring the amount of water absorbed by a brick after being submerged in water for some time.

      4. Crushing test – This test is used to check the compressive strength of a brick by applying pressure on one side and measuring the amount of force it takes to break the brick.
