Creating a layout in AutoCAD is a straightforward process. First, open up a new drawing, then go to the “Layout” tab on the ribbon and click “Page Setup Manager” in the bottom right corner. This will bring up the “Page Setup Manager”, where you can create a new layout.
Select the printer or plotter you want to design for and click “New”. Then enter your desired layout name in the dialog box, select the appropriate paper size and click OK. AutoCAD will then create the layout, which you can adjust by going to the “Page Setup” tab and selecting the “Layout” tab. You can customize the layout with viewports, scales, layers and other settings that you prefer.
