There are several methods for dissolving cement from drainage pipes, but the most effective and safe method is to use a commercial concrete dissolver. This product is formulated to break down and dissolve cement quickly and effectively without damaging the pipe. Before applying the product, make sure to remove any debris from the pipe and wear protective gloves, goggles, and a breathing mask during the process. Follow the instructions on the product package and use an old paint brush to help spread the product around the pipe.
Allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes before flushing the drain with plenty of water. Repeat the process if necessary until all traces of cement have been removed.
