To draw a parallel line in construction, you can use a ruler, pencil, and a set square. First, measure the desired distance using the ruler and mark it with a pencil. Then take the set square and place the longer side along the line. Use the pencil to draw a line at a 90° angle from the initial line. This line is your parallel line.
