1. Select a place to mount the aerial silks. The spot should have enough space, as well as a strong overhead support beam or structure.
2. Secure a strong board or beam in a stable position to the ceiling, and make sure it can support your weight before moving on.
3. Attach two heavy-duty eye bolts to the secure beam at the desired height for your aerial silks. Make sure that the eye bolts are secure and evenly spaced.
4. Thread the aerial silks through the eye bolts, leaving a few inches of slack between them.
5. Tie a secure knot at the end of both aerial silks, which will help keep them in place. Knots should be double-checked for strength and stability.
6. Test out the installation by doing a few practice exercises. Make sure that the knots are still tight and that the eye bolts are secure and not wobbling in the ceiling.
