Installing a pressure switch on an irrigation pump is relatively straightforward. Start by turning off the power to the pump, then disconnect any existing wires on the pressure switch. Connect the power supply wires to the terminals of the switch and attach the pump’s current wires if applicable.
Securely fasten the pressure switch to the pump with screws, or use an appropriate adhesive. Make sure the switch is set to the correct pressure setting and turn the power back on to test the pump.
