Installing a screen door spring closer is a quick and easy process. Before beginning, make sure that you have all the necessary tools.
1. Locate the mounting plate for the closer. This component should already be in place on the inside of your door frame.
2. Align the arm of the closer with the mounting plate and secure it with the included screws.
3. Install the tension adjustment screw to the side of the closer. Turn the screw clockwise using a screwdriver until the tension is set to your desired level.
4. Secure the pin hook to the top of the door frame. The Pin hook should be aligned with the arm of the closer.
5. Connect the pin hook to the arm of the closer and adjust the rods to the correct length.
6. Test the door a few times to ensure that the spring closes the door as desired.
