How to install a simple irrigation system?

1. Start by planning out the irrigation system. Decide where to place the water source, such as a hose bib or well pump, and how many sprinkler heads you need. Also plan out the location of the sprinkler heads, taking note of any areas that may need extra coverage.

3. Install the pipe fittings, such as elbows and tees, as needed to route the pipes around any obstacles and connect them to the sprinkler heads.

4. Connect the piping together by using pipe clamps and sealant. Take care to ensure a tight and water-tight fit.

5. Connect the pipes to the water source and any other components of the system, such as sprinkler valves and timers. Make sure to include a pressure regulator at the water source, if necessary.

6. Set up the control system for your irrigation system, such as a timer and valve controller. Program the system according to your watering needs and set it to run automatically on a schedule.

7. Once the system has been set up and programmed, turn on the water and test the sprinkler heads to make sure everything is working correctly. Monitor the system for any problems and adjust as needed.
