To make a cement fish tank, you will need the following materials:
– Cement
– Waterproofing membrane
– Sand
– Plywood
– Plastic sheeting
– Silicone
– Aquarium sealant
– Aquarium-safe paint
– Aquarium gravel
1. Set up the frame for the fish tank by using the plywood. Make sure the frame is completely level and secure.
2. Cover the outside of the frame with the plastic sheeting and use the silicone to attach it.
3. Apply the waterproofing membrane to the inside of the frame and let it dry.
4. Mix the cement and sand together in a bucket and add water to create a thick paste.
5. Apply the cement mix to the frame, using a trowel to spread it evenly.
6. Allow the cement to dry for 24 hours.
7. Apply the aquarium sealant to the inside of the fish tank to make it watertight.
8. Let the sealant dry for 24 hours.
9. Paint the inside of the tank with aquarium-safe paint.
10. Fill the fish tank with water and add the aquarium gravel.
11. Add any decorations or plants to the tank.
12. Let the tank sit for a few hours before adding the fish.
