To make a cement concrete road, you will need to begin by preparing the subgrade. This involves excavating the area to create a level and stable foundation for the road surface. The subgrade must then be compacted to ensure it provides a solid base for the road.
Once the subgrade is ready, add a layer of crushed rock or other aggregate material. This layer helps to ensure proper drainage and compaction of the road. A layer of gravel is then added on top of the aggregate. Next, mix together Portland cement and water according to manufacturer’s instructions to form a mortar.
Apply the mortar between each layer of gravel using a trowel to fill in any gaps. Finally, lay a layer of asphalt over the road and finish off with the recommended sealant.
