To make cement pots for plants, you will need a few supplies: cement mix, waterproofing sealer, metal or plastic bucket, plastic trowel, gloves, goggles and a face mask.
Begin by mixing the cement according to the directions on the package. Next, coat the inside of the bucket with a thin layer of waterproofing sealer to help the cement not stick when it’s time to remove the pot from the bucket. Fill the bucket with the wet cement mix and shake the bucket to bring air bubbles to the surface. Allow the cement to set for a few days until it is firm and dry.
Carefully remove the pot from the bucket and sand any rough edges. Now your cement pot is ready for planting!
