To make a spiral staircase in AutoCAD, start by creating a rectangular area with the desired dimensions. Next, draw two concentric circles at the center of the rectangular area that run along the inside of the rectangle. Then, draw several lines in an angled spiral pattern starting from the inner circle and extending to the outer edge of the rectangle.
When finished, use the Fillet or Chamfer command to round off the edges of the stairs. Finally, use the Hatch command to fill in the areas between the steps as desired.
