1. Start by preparing the ceiling. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust and debris.
2. Use a paint roller with a 3/8-inch nap to apply your primer. Start in one corner and work your way across the ceiling until it is completely covered. Let the primer dry for at least two hours before continuing to the next step.
3. Once the primer is dry, you can start painting the ceiling with your chosen color. Start in one corner and use the same 3/8-inch nap roller to apply the paint. Work your way across the ceiling until it is totally covered. Make sure to use even strokes and try to get into all the corners and edges as best as possible.
4. After the first coat is dry, use a second coat of paint to finish the job. Apply the same technique as before, being careful to cover any missed spots from the first coat.
5. Finally, use a brush to go around the edges and corners to ensure that everything is covered evenly.
Once the ceiling is dry, it should have a professional and finished look.
