3. Prepare the surface by scrubbing it with a solution of mild detergent and water, then rinse.
4. Use painter’s tape to protect any windows, trim, and other surfaces that you don’t want to paint.
5. Apply a coat of primer and let it dry before painting.
6. Use a roller or brush to apply the paint in even coats, making sure to cover all of the brick.
