      1. Check your local building codes to ensure that the roofing materials you plan to use are allowed in your area.

      2. Measure the shed’s roof and calculate how many tiles you will need to cover it.

      3. Purchase the appropriate amount of tiles and other materials you will need, such as underlayment, nails, and flashing.

      4. Lay out the underlayment in overlapping strips, starting at the bottom edge of the roof and working your way up.

      5. Starting at the bottom of the roof, begin placing tiles in rows, making sure to overlap them slightly.

      6. Secure the tiles in place with nails at regular intervals.

      7. Install any necessary flashing around the edges of the roof and along valleys.

      8. Place caps on the ridge of the roof to protect against water damage.

      9. Clean up any debris from the installation.
