There are several methods for removing cement from a floor. The most effective way to remove cement from a floor is to use an angle grinder with either a diamond blade or a carbide blade attached. Additionally, a pneumatic chisel, hammer and chisel, or abrasive blasting can also be used to successfully remove cement from a floor.
For larger areas, grinding machines equipped with diamond discs can provide a more efficient and faster method of removal. Depending on the amount of cement needing to be removed, a chemical cleaner or cleaner/degreaser may also be used to soften and remove cement buildup.
