AutoCAD offers a variety of ways to set limits. You can set the global drawing limits, set custom limits and establish area limits. To set global limits, go to the File menu and select Drawing Utilities > Drawing Limits. Then, enter the desired values for the X-min, X-max, Y-min and Y-max fields.Read more
AutoCAD offers a variety of ways to set limits. You can set the global drawing limits, set custom limits and establish area limits. To set global limits, go to the File menu and select Drawing Utilities > Drawing Limits.
Then, enter the desired values for the X-min, X-max, Y-min and Y-max fields. For custom limits, select the Limits command from the Home tab. This will open up a dialog box where you can enter custom limits for the current drawing. To establish an area limit, use the Set Limits command from the View tab. This will allow you to draw a rectangular area for the desired limits.
