To set up a drip irrigation system, you will need:
• Irrigation tubing
• Water pressure regulator
• Drip emitters
• Tubing connectors
• Faucet adapters or garden hose adapters
• Water shut-off valve
1. First, connect the faucet adapter or garden hose adapter to your outdoor water supply.
2. Then, attach the water pressure regulator to the faucet adapter or garden hose adapter and adjust it to the preferred pressure for your system.
3. Connect the irrigation tubing to the water pressure regulator. This will form the main line from which you will be running your drip system.
4. Place drip emitters along the main line of your drip system. These devices regulate the flow of water to each separate area of your garden.
5. Connect the irrigation tubing to the drip emitters using tubing connectors.
6. Finally, install a water shut-off valve near the beginning of the main line. This allows you to turn the system off in the event of an emergency.
Once your system is set up, you can begin to adjust the flow rate to each section of your garden.
