How to stick sunmica on plywood?

Sunmica, also known as Formica and laminate surface is commonly used to add durability and a decorative finish to plywood. To adhere sunmica to plywood, first clean the plywood surface thoroughly and make sure it is dry.

Then use a construction adhesive or contact cement to apply a uniform and even layer of glue to the back of the sunmica sheet. Position the sunmica onto the plywood and press down firmly.

Once in place, use a rolling pin to press out any air bubbles. Allow the glue to dry and cure before finishing with a sealer.
