Tiling a bathroom floor is a fairly straightforward process, but should be done carefully. To begin, clear the room of any furniture and make sure the existing subfloor is level, as unevenness will cause your tiles to look uneven after installation. Then, lay down a layer of thin-set mortar and use a notched trowel to spread it evenly.
Next, begin placing the tiles in the desired pattern and press firmly into the thin-set. Once all the tiles are in place, grout the lines between each tile and allow to dry fully before wiping off the excess. Finally, seal the tiles and give the area a thorough cleaning.
