Tiling a shower floor requires precise planning and execution. Before starting the project, you should calculate the number of tiles needed and make sure you have enough adhesive to cover the entire shower floor. Once your materials are ready, it’s time to start tiling. Begin by laying out the tiles in the desired pattern and taping them in place using a jigsaw to cut around any curves or corners.
Once the tiles are in place, apply thinset mortar adhesive with a notched trowel and press the tiles firmly into place. Once all the tiles are secure, fill any gaps or seams and grout the seams using grouting material and a rubber grout float. Allow the grout to cure before applying a sealant.
