The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has a set of earthquake-resistant design standards, which include the current editions of AIA’s Code of Standard Practice for Earthquake-Resistant Design. These standards provide guidance in reinforcing and strengthening structures to resist seismic forces, and are available for purchase on the AIA website.
