Non hydraulic cement is a type of building material that gets its strength when it reacts with water to form an insoluble product. Unlike hydraulic cement, non hydraulic cement does not require water to set and harden. Examples of non hydraulic cement include gypsum plaster, lime mortar and pozzolana cement.
