2. Cellulose Insulation: Cellulose insulation is made from recycled paper products that have been treated with chemicals for fire resistance. It is typically sprayed in as a liquid and then expands to fill the space within walls.
3. Foam Board Insulation: Foam board insulation is rigid panels of insulation that can be used to insulate almost any part of the home, including exterior walls. It is made from polystyrene or polyisocyanurate and comes in 4×8-foot sheets.
4. Mineral Wool: Mineral wool is a traditional form of insulation made from melted minerals such as slag and rock. It is naturally fire-resistant and is usually sold as batts or loose-fill.
