Which type of reinforcement are used in pre-stressing?

Three major reinforcements used for pre-stressing:

1. Spalling reinforcement: spalling stresses are generated behind the blocks and create cause for breaking of surface concrete.
2. Equilibrium reinforcement: this is required when pre-stressing loads are applied classically and anchorages it.
3. Bursting reinforcement: these stresses are caused during the pre-stressing operation and become maximum when trajectories are introverted towards the action line of load. So this reinforcement is needed to resist lateral tensile forces.
