Fly ash is a mineral admixture used to increase the workability, strength and durability of cement. It is also used to reduce energy costs and emissions that would otherwise occur in the production of Portland cement.

Fly ash provides better flowability to the cement mixture and helps to fill voids and create a smoother surface texture. Additionally, fly ash helps to reduce shrinkage cracks that can occur during the curing process of concrete.
